ITNT-2017
The III International Conference on Information Technology and Nanotechnology (ITNT-2017) was held from April 25 to April 27, 2017 in Samara by the Samara National Research University and the Image Processing Systems Institute of RAS – Branch of the FSRC «Crystallography and Photonics» RAS.
More than 330 scientists from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and many other regions of Russia, as well as from Great Britain, Moldova, Belarus, India, Mexico (43 cities in total) took part in the Conference. The site of ITNT-2017 was visited by users from 79 regions of Russia and 67 countries. EasyChair was used to submit the papers, and the review was carried out by the Program Committee, which included scientists from 13 countries.
The keynote speakers were eminent Russian and foreign scientists: Prof. Sergei Sazhin (University of Brighton), Prof. Igor Bychkov, Prof. Valery Labunets, Prof. Alexander Kupriyanov, Artem Balyakin.
The meetings were held in four sections:
· "Computer optics and nanophotonics"
· "Image processing and geoinformation technology"
· "Information security"
· "Mathematical modeling"
· "High-performance computing"
· "Data science"
Within the framework of the ITNT-2017 a seminar "Information Technologies in Education" was also held.
The Youth School aroused great interest among young scientists. More than 100 researchers took part in the activities of the Youth School. They were taught by the scientists of leading IT companies: Anton Dzhoraev (NVIDIA Corporation), Andrey Sysoev (Lenovo Group Limited), Sergey Yankin (COMSOL Group), Valery Zakharov (Innovation Systems LLC), Andrey Ivanov (Tinkoff Bank), Dmitry Korobchenko (NVIDIA Corporation).
Materials of the Conference are published in the Local Proceedings, CEUR Workshop Proceedings (indexed by Scopus), and Elsevier Procedia Engineering (indexed by Scopus and Web of Science).
